Precautions for bucket maintenance work

When small holes appear on the digging boots or the edge lines of the boots are worn, it indicates that the digging boots need to be replaced. The replacement method is as follows:

Use a chisel tool and hammer to knock out the locking pin and remove the bucket shoe. Check the removed locking pins and springs. And replace the locking plugs, springs, defective locking pins, and springs with new ones that have severe friction. Use a scraper to clean the surface of the bucket teeth and replace it with a new one. Place the spring into the recess on the side of the bucket teeth. Insert the bucket boots into the bucket teeth. Insert the locking lever pin into the hole of the tooth. Strike with a hammer until the locking rod latch is locked.

Reminder: When checking the bucket teeth, the bucket teeth should be placed on a large wooden block, and the bucket tooth pins and edge cutting plates should be replaced. Check if the bucket tooth latch is worn or loose, as the service life of the bucket tooth is not only related to the working time, but also closely related to the operating condition.

The excavator operator should pay attention to thoroughly cleaning the sand and soil attached to the screw, using acetylene to cut off the screw head, and then remove the cutting plate. Clean the fixed surface and replace the screw cap with a new one when installing the edge cutting plate. And tighten the screw according to the specified torque.
